Hi, I’m John

I qualified as an Authorised Financial Advisor in 2019, following a 19-year career to senior management level in banking, working in the areas of economics, strategy and business planning. Prior to that I worked as an economist at Beef and Lamb NZ.

I’m qualified to provide advice on KiwiSaver, financial investments, property, and investment planning. With over 30 years’ experience in economics, business planning, finance and advisory, I’m here to help you achieve your investment and retirement goals.

I can also draw on insights from 25 years of marriage guiding three children through to adulthood, coaching through the junior, youth and college grades, instructing at pony club and at times juggling our mortgage, retirement plans and children’s education.

Whether you’re looking to get the most out of KiwiSaver, have some funds and would like to consider your investment options, or wanting a personalised investment plan, I can provide personalised advice to help you achieve your financial goals. I have several clients who I am helping manage their savings during retirement.

At Kapiti Financial Advice Limited we pride ourselves on providing our clients with expert advice, recommendations, and support to help them with their lending and investment needs. We are committed to providing superior service along with good, honest and reliable advice, so that we can be confident that we have found the right solution for you, our client.

Hi, I’m Sophie

I graduated from Victoria University Wellington (VUW) in 2019, completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Marketing and Management.

I’m presently living in Brisbane, Australia, where I am Marketing Coordinator at Fitness Cartel.

Fitness Cartel

I am concerned about environmental sustainability and have my KiwiSaver savings in a Booster Socially Responsible Investment fund. I like that Booster is a Wellington based company offering a suite of socially responsible investment funds. Like me their Managing Director, Allan Yeo, is a graduate of VUW who has kept his ties to the university. During my time studying at Victoria, Booster formed a partnership with Wellington UniVentures to provide funding for start-up companies to commercialise innovations and research coming out of the University. I think it is neat that a small part of my savings is going to support ventures originating from my alma mater.
