Consilium Wrap investment platform
Consilium’s Wrap platform provides access to a wide range of investments which allow financial advisors to build portfolios for our clients. The service includes extensive research and reporting to allow advisors and our clients view all holdings, transactions, fees, taxes, and portfolio performance.
Investments are registered in the name of the custodian, FNZ Custodians Limited, but the investor remains the beneficial owner. Holding assets in custody with FNZ Custodians Limited allows Consilium Wrap to increase efficiency, gain access to institutional level investments, and keep fees low.
The Consilium Wrap service has a number of advantages including access to a wide range of domestic and international assets, convenience, lower costs, simplified administration, and transparency:
- Greater Choice. Consilium Wrap provides access to a wide range of domestic and international assets, including institutional assets not available direct to the public. This means that financial advisers can build portfolios to meet our investors’ needs.
- Convenience. The platform provides allows us, as your financial advisor, to look after all your investments held on Consilium Wrap. We can monitor, review and transact on the portfolio to ensure your investments remain on track to meet your objectives.
- Lower Costs. Average fund costs may be lower due to the scale achieved by Consilium Wrap. Lower transaction costs are achieved through the aggregation of orders.
- Simplification. Investment applications and corporate action paperwork is managed by Consilium Wrap. By agreement with our investors, all transactions can be facilitated through us, your financial adviser.
- Transparency. Consilium Wrap allows easy viewing of current and past valuation and performance information across all investments.
The facility also gives our client access to the Wrap’s unique term deposit facility, which helps in designing portfolio’s structured for our clients financial needs and goals, all on one portal. This allows our clients access a range of term deposit providers, often at better than retail rates, and can change between providers on maturity with ease. This facility helps in designing and implementing financial plans.
From our perspective, Consilium Wrap gives our clients access to Synergy and Mapua investments provided by Consilium. Synergy offers a wide range of expertly managed portfolios of different investment styles with a variety of return and risk combinations. The portfolios are developed based on recommendations from industry leading investment professionals and are constructed by Consilium based around evidentiary investment principles.
